I had a crappy day yesterday. Whenever I am at Andy's parents house I always eat really bad because they are eating ALL the time! I forgot to take the video with me over the weekend but plan to start doing it in the evenings instead of the mornings. I think it will make me dread it a lot less. I'm almost completly done drinking soda! I haven't had any in the house for the last 2 weeks or so but have eaten out a few times during those weeks and get it then. I don't really eat out much anymore because Andy is not around and thus have no one to eat with so I don't feel that a soda every now and then is that bad of a thing. I stepped on the scale on friday and nothing has changed yet. Man oh man this sucks! However, the workout video has began to be less painful! I plan to do it 5 days this week as well!
P.S. Went to walmart over the weekend. I thought the buckets were to small but found some huricane vases that are 6" tall (about half the size of regular ones) that were only $2 a piece. Andy and I did the math and I think that would make the table settings under $5 which is what we budgeted! Also, I'm leaving it up to you to make sure that as I add things to the website it all looks good and is spell checked!

Re: Shred
Hey, I did that video with you on Sat and then again on Mon morning. My thighs are not hurting, but my calves are so tight that I did not try it again this morning. I figure I will try to do it tomorrow and also again on Thursday. Are you shooting for 5 days per week? I think that there needs to be more stretching at the end. My problem with working out is that I always eat better when I'm not exercising! It doesn't help that Cathy always brings junk to work to eat throughout the day!

30 Day Shred
I got my 30 day shred dvd in the mail last night!! I did it this morning. Woke up at 8:30 and did the video that almost killed me!! I thought I was going to die. But it was nice because then I was awake and got a lot of stuff done this morning. I'm sure that Dad will be able to make a copy of it so I am bringing it this weekend. We could even try to do it. I hope it works! We will see in 30 days and then hopefully even more in 11 months! See you tonight!

Bad Weekend
I find that I have no motivation to workout unless I am doing my normal schedule during the week. I did order that workout video that I was telling you about and it's a DVD so if it gets here before the weekend then dad can burn it for us. The scale says that I have lost 2 pounds!!! Still have a million more to go but if it's true than it's improvement. I ate somewhat healthy this weekend but we went out a lot. I just started making chicken and rice for dinner but have a head-ache (again!!) so will probably not work out. I read this weekend that Comasts On Demand channels under health and fitness have a variety of different work outs that you can watch for free so I might do that if I feel better. I just talked to Andy and he might have to work this weekend so it might just be me! That would suck so he is going to try hard not to. I really don't want to drive 5 hours by myself! Have a good week!

Kind of Day 6?
Ok, I did nothing yesterday either and ate horribly. But today is not too soon to start over. The problem here is that I couldn't get my butt out of bed early enough to do anything before work. We will see what happens after work. I used to run up and down the three flights of stairs in our department when I had a few spare seconds, but haven't done this in quite awhile. I'll start again today, unless I have just a crazy amount of patients, then I'm already exhausted!

Day 4
Ha. Well I did nothing today! I think I got so excited that I had some time off and no homework to do that I just did wedding stuff all night. Nothing that needed to be done for another 9 months or so but it kept me occupied. I am going to do my running in the morning to make up for tonight. For some reason we have a four day weekend and I have nothing to do! I'll get a lot of working out in!

Day 3 (technically)
I just got back from my run/ walk (about 25 minutes long). Today on my way home from school I clocked how many miles it was and I think in total I am doing just about one mile. I figure after a week or two I will try to do two loops and kick it up to 2 miles. I had a tuna sandwich for lunch today (is that bad? yes it was on white bread!) and had a piece of chicken and macaroni for dinner at 5:30 (I am trying to eat earlier and not eat anymore after 7.) I'm gonna try to wake up in the morning and do crunches.
Hopefully your paper is finished since it is now tomorrow. I worked out in the morning yesterday doing squats, lunges, push-ups and abs and today am having a hard time walking because my legs are SO sore! I didn't eat the best yesterday, had a small slice of leftover pizza before dinner and Jesse wanted ice cream afterwards. I did alright though, I got the smallest cup of orange sorbet that they had though I probably should have said no. Well, today is another day to try again. I have been loosing a lot of water that I was retaining I believe from the heat at the lake. I got up to pee 3 times in the middle of the night on Monday! AHH, how horrible.

Day 1 (11 months to go)
Well last night I was planning on going for my walk/run but I had a really bad headache for some reason and just ended up laying in bed. My TV in my room wouldn't turn on and so I literally just layed there with a cold rag on my face for hours hoping I would feel better soon. This morning I had to start writting a 7-10 page paper due tomorrow so I sat on the couch all morning. Now class is over and I have half of the paper left that I hope to get done very early and have daylight left for my walk/run. In my redbook that I was reading this weekend it had a 10 week plan to becoming a runner. You start out walking for 5 mintues and running for 1. and then the next week you walk for 4 minutes and run for 2 and so on until you can run for 15 minutes a time and then 30 minutes at a time. You are supposed to do this 3 days a week but I am hoping to do it for at least 5 and do crunchies and push-ups when I get home. We will see how it goes!

Day 1
OK Tara, I got on the scale today, and after spending a whole week at the lake, weigh 181 pounds. I did not exercise (still exhausted from the trip home yesterday) but did eat what I consider fairly well. I used calorie-count.com and figure that I ate about 1700 calories today which is about 100 over my goal. We had a huge grilled chicken salad for dinner (approx 2.5 cups romaine lettuce (only 15 cals), half of a chicken breast (142 cals), and added some tomatoes, avocado, and cheese. The kicker is that the ranch dressing alone was 280 cals. I think I am going to try to switch to a light vinagarette, but I don't think that will work for you since the only dressing you eat is ranch. I'm going to try to get up early in the morning and do some body weight exercises here at home and if I get off early tomorrow, I will research some gyms that are close. This is the goal at least.
