Day 1

OK Tara, I got on the scale today, and after spending a whole week at the lake, weigh 181 pounds. I did not exercise (still exhausted from the trip home yesterday) but did eat what I consider fairly well. I used calorie-count.com and figure that I ate about 1700 calories today which is about 100 over my goal. We had a huge grilled chicken salad for dinner (approx 2.5 cups romaine lettuce (only 15 cals), half of a chicken breast (142 cals), and added some tomatoes, avocado, and cheese. The kicker is that the ranch dressing alone was 280 cals. I think I am going to try to switch to a light vinagarette, but I don't think that will work for you since the only dressing you eat is ranch. I'm going to try to get up early in the morning and do some body weight exercises here at home and if I get off early tomorrow, I will research some gyms that are close. This is the goal at least.

I do love ranch but have been eating it a lot less. How about ceaser salads.... How bad are those for me?

2 Tbsp of Ranch = 148 cals
2 Tbsp of Ceasar = 100 cals

watch your portions and you'll be okay. You should be making your tuna with light miracle whip or mayo instead of the full fat stuff. In the light mayo that I buy, there are only 20 cals in 1 Tbsp and it doesn't taste any different. Jesse hasn't said a word!
